Step Inside the Work
This portfolio gathers the body of work that marked my becoming and shares paintings that emerged in a garage studio in Orlando, Florida, before Studio 5 had a name.
These works were created in a season of reckoning and reclamation. A time when I stopped waiting for permission and began to see myself clearly as an artist.
What you’ll find here is not only finished paintings, but the emergence of a voice — layered, intuitive, wrestling with identity, power, resilience, and the quiet courage to begin anew.
This collection was assembled ahead of my first gallery show. It captures the threshold between doubt and conviction, between experimenting and claiming the work.
Some of these pieces now live in private collections. A few may still be available by inquiry.
If you feel drawn to one, I welcome a conversation.

Since returning to Durham, a new body of work has been unfolding inside Studio 5.
Select pieces from this new chapter will be released in the coming weeks.
